Saturday, July 11th 2-6PM

Join us as Small Vineyards guides us through their Spanish portfolio!  With a focus on small production high quality wineries this will be a blast!

According to the Michelin guide, the best white wine from Spain is made by Martina's mother, Victoria, under their famous estate name, Jose Pariente.  World renowned for their Verdejo, Martina is taking their estate to new heights, using extreme methods such as harvesting grapes at night (wearing miner's hats!) and cooling down the fruit and locking in aromatics, with heavier-than-air nitrogen, that is blasted over the freshly picked grapes. The result, a stunning achievement that defies the continental heat of central Spain.  This makes possible Martina's striking wines - particularly their most alluring feature - the nose. The aromas are pungent, green and taut, with persistent quince, kumquat, lychee, jalapeño, cactus and the deepest bramble character - it is peaked and intense from the first furious sip to the very long, pure finish. Hers are complete wines, an expression with no rules or fences to close it in, or soften the edges.

Join us to taste this amazing Verdejo as well as some excellent other small production Spanish wines.  There are some beautiful reds in this lineup that will knock your socks off as we taste through this elegant set of small production values from Spain.
